Arts Umbrella Opening Celebration
Congratulations to Arts Umbrella on the opening of their new home on Granville Island! We are honored to partner with them to provide you with this delicious box of goodies to enjoy while watching the virtual tour of their building dedicated to accessible arts education for young people ages 2-22, featuring state-of-the-art studio, exhibition, and performance spaces to inspire future generations.
Here are the details of what is in your box. Everything should be refrigerated until you’re ready to eat (except the potato chips):
Blanc de Blancs, Tantalus 2018 – Okanagan, BC
100% Chardonnay
Made in the traditional method from a single block of estate Chardonnay.
Caramelized Onion & Caviar Dip -
Remove from refrigerator and serve cold. Stir the caviar into the dip and enjoy with a chip. (If you don’t like caviar, remove it from the top with a spoon.)
Ingredients: onions, olive oil, salt, pepper, sour cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice, worcestershire sauce, tobacco, tarragon, chive, parsley, caviar: Northern Divine sturgeon, rainbow trout, tobiko (flying fish)
Potato Chips -
Load them up with dip!
Ingredients: potato, canola oil, sea salt
Duck, Chicken, & Apricot Pâté en Croûte -
Remove from refrigerator 10 minutes before serving. Cut with a serrated knife and serve with grainy Dijon.
Ingredients: crust - flour, butter, water, egg, salt; filling - duck, chicken, apricot, onion, garlic, brandy, 4 spice (clove, pepper, nutmeg, ginger), thyme, duck stock, gelatin
White Chocolate Carrot Cake Truffle Bar -
Remove from refrigerator 10-15 minutes before eating.
Ingredients: pastry flour, cinnamon, allspice, ginger, baking soda, baking powder, salt, sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, carrots, crushed pineapple, pineapple juice, shredded unsweetened coconut, butter, cream cheese, white chocolate
Dark Chocolate Cognac Truffle Bar -
Remove from refrigerator 10-15 minutes before eating.
Ingredients: 55% cacao belgian chocolate, cream, salt, hennessy cognac, dark chocolate
Vegan alternatives:
Sicilian Caponata -
Remove from refrigerator and serve cold. Enjoy on a chip.
Ingredients: eggplant, zucchini, bell peppers, raisins, brown sugar, sherry vinegar, olive oil, capers, salt, pepper
Potato & Leek Terrine -
Meant to be served cold and sliced. Serve with grainy Dijon.
Remove plastic lid and flip onto cutting board. Gently remove parchment paper. Slice with a chef knife.
Ingredients: yukon gold potatoes, leeks, salt, pepper, ground fennel, pressed with apple brandy agar
